The Liberty Swing Band is an 18 piece Dance Band modeled after the classic format of the bands of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and the many other bands of the Big Band Era. As such, the band's musical selections always contain many well known classic tunes which reflect those familiar sounds.Members of the Liberty Swing Band are Professional and Semi-Professional musicians from the Greater Wellington Area all sharing a love of performing Big Band music. When you hear The Liberty Swing Band, you will experience the excitement that only a live band can provide. That familiar Big Band Sound and outstanding instrumental & vocal performances.

$250 will be donated to the art department of the school that puts in the most entries to the 2020 TItahi Bay Beach Festival Art Competition (size of school will be taken into consideration). Packs of posters and entry forms are heading out to schools this week if you haven't already acquired one. The competition is open to Titahi Bay, Elsdon, Takapuwahia and Kenepuru primary and intermediate schools. Good luck everyone, we look forward to seeing your crafty creative creations :)  |
