There will be some road closures for the 2019 Titahi Bay Beach Festival. If you know someone who might be affected, let them know the following:
1. There will not be beach access for vehicles on the day, as we will have stalls along the beach. So if you are coming down in the very early morning before the festival starts and park your car on the beach, you wont be able to get it off the beach when the festival is on. Be a helpful Kiwi, and park on the road. 2. From 11am to 8pm Richard Street (between John Street and Bay Drive) as well as Vella Drive will be closed to public vehicle traffic. We will have over 50 stalls, where you will be able to walk safely and check it out. 3. Bus services are still on as scheduled, but the Richard Street stops will not be in use. Head over to Whanake Street, where a temporary stop has been planned (this is similar to last year). 4.Stall holders will be sent information about how to access their space on the day, and we once again have the Ngati Toa Maori Wardens to assist with any traffic management. We appreciate everyone patience and support and we hope that you can make sure that we can have a good day.
